Well hey there, folks! Welcome to the new Spiny Shell Radio: big, shiny, and error-free! Seriously though, we put in some solid work late Thursday evening. This is just a quick outline so you don’t get lost in the overwhelming madness.

First off, we’re renewing our Friday schedule. We’ve been slipping the last 6 weeks or so, but no more: we are BACK, every Friday from 9-11PM EST! We’ve upgraded to a pro-level broadcasting server, so we’ll be starting on time, every week, no matter what. Guaranteed. Rain or shine. 100%. Or your money back. (Fuck off, shit’s free.)

Other than that, there are just a few functional changes that you should know about to be all up in this bitch. Namely:

• In the upper-right corner of the page, there is now a permanent flash player that’s linked to our stream 24/7- it works when we’re live AND when we’re streaming past content throughout the week. Just hit play, that’s it!
• Our new stream pauses automatically when we switch over from our playlists to a live broadcast. All this means for you is, if you’re listening before 9PM, you’ll have to press play again when we start the show. So don’t worry if you drop out- that’s supposed to happen.
• On the right, you’ll also notice a new Song Request form. Now you have NO excuses, as it’s easier than ever to tell us what you want to hear! Please get involved: we’ll honor all requests we get, regardless of genre or artist.
• You can still listen to our show through iTunes or any other media player you have already installed, too. Just hit the “Download Stream” button on the “Listen Now!” page like you’re used to doing.

And that’s it, you’re all set!
